Hello and welcome! My name is Katerina, and I am the founder of Chania Planning Event.
My journey into wedding and event planning began with a genuine love for creating beautiful experiences and meaningful moments. I believe that every celebration should reflect the unique story of the people behind it, and that is what inspires me in every event I undertake.
Whether it is an intimate gathering, a destination wedding in Crete, or a large-scale celebration, my goal is to make the planning process enjoyable, stress-free, and memorable from beginning to end.
I value personal connections, attention to detail, and thoughtful design. By working closely with each couple, I strive to create events that feel authentic, elegant, and truly unforgettable.

My philosophy is rooted in balance: elegance without excess, emotion without chaos, and beauty that feels effortless rather than staged. I believe every detail should have a purpose — not to impress for a moment, but to belong naturally to the story we are telling.
I take time to truly understand each couple or client: their energy, their vision, and the atmosphere they want to create. From there, I design experiences that feel personal, cohesive, and deeply authentic. No two events are ever the same, because no two stories are the same.
What I aim for is simple: when guests walk in, they don’t just see a beautiful space — they feel something. And when they leave, they carry that feeling with them.

Behind every event, there is a small, dedicated team that cares about details most people might never notice — not because they have to, but because they truly love what they do. We work closely, communicate constantly, and support each other so that everything feels calm and seamless on the outside, even when a lot is happening behind the scenes.
From my side, I’m very involved in every step of the process. I don’t believe in “just handing over” an idea — I believe in building it together with my clients, guiding them when needed, and always keeping the vision clear and aligned.
